In my recent haul, I picked up a Lip color from the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm range in the shade ‘Sultry Sulfureuse’. I have lately discovered that I am aligned much towards pinks with deep undertones like mauve, magenta etc. Lighter ones aren’t close to my taste! So, part of this, I have picked up this shade which is so pretty. And yes, I have been listening to voices over blogosphere saying its such a beautiful shade.
Packaging: The packaging is similar to the Just bitten Kissable Balm range. The body of the balm resembles the inside matte balm and also the shade is similar to the packaging colour.
Price & Quantity: Rs. 800 for 6gms
Shade: Sultry Sulfuruse
Texture: And this is what we call a perfect meaning for ‘Matte’. Claps around! Smooth and soft which glides over the lips very beautifully, at the same time setting up the finish to be Matte, never forgetting the moisturization necessity.
Pigmentation & Staying Power: Again a rise! One single swipe is enough to cover the whole pigmentation. And the mint-y coolness gives a good feel when applied. Its super pigmented and also lasts to a decent time. It lasts for a good 6-7 hrs, surviving mild snacks.
My Experience with Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Sultry Sulfureuse: Its a vibrant Rosy-Mauve shade. It goes well both when applies either in a light hand or in a bold way.
Its truly a matte shade which is very beautiful and defined. Vibrant and alluring! The coolness is refreshing. Though being matte, its perfectly moisturizing. It takes a minute to settle down and once set, its in there the same for a good 6 hrs. The shade, texture, pigmentation and lasting power – all together makes up us to applause!
